Hello!
My name is Genelyn Mae Latosa Gabrido. Most of my friends call me Jenny. I was born in Palawan, Philippines, in 1989. I graduated from Palawan State University in 2010 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. After I graduated, I took the licensure exam for teachers. I passed the test and got my license.
Currently, I am staying in Burgas, Bulgaria, with my Bulgarian husband. I moved to Bulgaria in 2023. I have always wanted to improve my skills as an educator, so I decided to take up a master's degree. Since I was young, I have loved school so much that I didn't ever want to leave school. That’s the time I decided to become a teacher. I loved sharing knowledge with my classmates and helping them with our lessons. I told myself that if I became a teacher, it would be a great opportunity to help more students, and at the same time, I could continue learning.
I have been teaching for almost 15 years. I have taught English to East Asians at all levels. I enjoy teaching different nationalities because, at the same time, I become more open to other cultures. It helps me become more open-minded.
